He is currently in the hospital awaiting surgery to remove his gall bladder.

Well his bout of cholecystitis as it's called resulted in a gallstone approximately 1.5 cm in diameter which has been vanquished and sent for biopsy and subsequent final death. He's doing well thus far an they are keeping him overnight.
