I do this all the time and regularly come up with free shipping offers, and up to 50% discounts.

When you buy anything on-line, Google the name of the retailer with the phrases "coupon", "discount code", "on line coupon" and "on line discount code".

There are a bunch of websites where people post all the coupon codes they come across. Since you can only use one code at a time, take a second to look through all of them and find which one saves you the most money.

Most times, there is no site membership requirement; the info is just posted in their discussion forums. For some of the more obscure sites, you may have to try entering a few codes before you find one that works, but I'll spend an extra few minutes to shave cash off my bill, anytime.

When I find a good code, I go back and click on all the web ads on the page. The people running the sites usually get credit for each click, and I call that "fair trade" for getting the info.
